How my cholesterol dropped to a healthy level (without much effort)

Case study: Charles Luise

“How does it look?” I ask

“It’s a far cry from the last time,” my doctor replies.

“Your arteries are clear. And your cholesterol numbers are excellent.”

She’s looking at my heart’s CAT scan results. A broad mild smile while shaking her head in disbelief.

“How did you do it?”

“I did what you told me,” I reply.

“You went to Scott?”

“Kinda”

The last time I visited her, my cholesterol levels were rocking from bad to very bad, depending on the day.

Worse, my left and right arteries were 94% and 93% blocked.

Heart surgery seemed to be the only option. My father had died during heart surgery, so that wasn’t something I was keen on doing.

His brothers died from a stroke, and my sister suffered a massive heart attack (she recovered after doing what I did).

High cholesterol and other cardiovascular diseases run in my family and have claimed a lot of lives.

This left me deciding between a rock and a hard place.

Should I gamble a risky surgery or do nothing and face an imminent stroke or heart attack?

Statins didn’t help, plus I always had terrible stomach cramps after taking them. So I stopped.

“Is there nothing else I can do?”, I asked my doctor.

A long pause… “Well, you could talk to Scott.”

I had never heard of this man before. He is, however, a legend in the alternative health field. Medical doctors now also point their patients to him when they run out of options.

Scott’s approach is straightforward.

He designs simple diets and lifestyle changes based on the newest scientific research to address the underlying causes of hard-to-treat health issues.

Once the underlying cause of the disease is gone, the disease itself evaporates.

Let’s take high cholesterol as an example.

Medical science is constantly progressing as we discover new things.

In the 80s and 90s, doctors focused on total cholesterol levels.

Nowadays, everyone knows we have good cholesterol (HDL) and bad cholesterol (LDL). We want to raise the HDL and lower LDL. So, total cholesterol level is a useless number.

LDL is, however, not bad in and out of itself. We would die without it. It’s just that most people have too much LDL. Hardly anyone has too little.

Just like body fat is not bad in and out of itself. We need to have some body fat. It’s just that most people have too much body fat.

Science continues.

The latest discovery is that not all LDL is created equal.

Only a small percentage of LDL is harmful. The problem is that these bad-players-LDL hijack normal LDL molecules and use them as building blocks to block your arteries.

The LDL plaque either blocks the heart (causing a heart attack) or becomes loose and shoots up in the brain (causing a stroke).

Without these bad-players-LDL cholesterols, the liver safely disposes of normal LDL. It never builds up in the bloodstream, causing high cholesterol and plaque buildup.

The solution is, therefore, to address the real underlying problem of high cholesterol.

This bad-player-LDL is called oxidized cholesterol. And the failure to address it is why low-cholesterol diets don’t work.

I used to cut out everything and anything: eggs, butter, fatty meat, bacon, you name it.

But my cholesterol didn’t budge till I addressed the real underlying cause of my high cholesterol: oxidized cholesterol.

Once I addressed oxidized cholesterol, my LDL cholesterol level dropped effortlessly, and the plaque blocks in my heart evaporated.

Here is an easy way to visualize this:

Think of an old, half-rotten apple.

What happens if we put a few fresh apples next to it? They all rot quickly.

Hence the saying: “one rotten apple spoils the whole barrel.”

This natural chemical process is called oxidization.

Almost everything in nature oxidizes. It’s the breakdown of food going bad and old cars rusting into the grounds and disappearing.

Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

In the same way, when we consume oxidized cholesterol, it spreads to any LDL cholesterol it touches.

Worse, the oxidization spreads to your artery walls, scarring them and causing inflammation.

These rough scars and inflammation cracks attract cholesterol, calcium, and other molecules.

These molecules block your heart arteries, causing stroke and heart attack.

The solution is twofold:

Step 1: Avoid consuming oxidized cholesterol

Cholesterol is a type of fat found in many oils and oily foods.

Like an apple immediately begins losing its freshness after being picked (although we don’t notice it for days), the same happens with all food: meat, fish, fruits, vegetables… and cholesterol.

There is no getting around this. That’s why all types of food have expiration dates.

This means we can not avoid all oxidized cholesterol. We can only minimize it. Fortunately, that’s enough because your body can handle a limited amount of oxidized cholesterol.

The trick is avoiding a few food types that oxidize quickly and a long before anyone considers them “gone bad.”

Many of these oxidizing foods are praised as healthy when, in fact, they are the underlying cause of high cholesterol, stroke, heart attack, and death.

You can still safely consume these types of food if you know how to prevent them from oxidizing.

Step 2: Clean your bloodstream of oxidized cholesterol.

Our bodies clear out some oxidized cholesterol on their own. If they couldn’t do that, we would die within hours.

We often, however, overload our bloodstream by consuming too much oxidized cholesterol. It’s just how the modern Western diet is.

Fortunately, you can do many things to help your body clear out these killers oxidized cholesterol.

And I’m talking about much more powerful agents than eating a handful of blueberries or anything else you may have read about on the Internet.

Even if you didn’t remove any oxidized cholesterol from your diet and only used a handful of the antioxidant tricks Scott teaches, that might be enough. I was far from doing everything he suggested, yet my cholesterol level normalized, and my arteries cleared in weeks.

Scott is a true professional and bases everything he teaches on actual science, not on folktales like most of the stuff out there.

That’s why you won’t find anything close to Scott’s knowledge on any website or book. It’s always both cutting-edge and deep — a blend of the latest scientific research with the profound knowledge of old wisdom.

He also tests his discoveries thoroughly before disclosing them to the general public, recruiting hundreds of volunteers.

And even after he publishes his work, he welcomes feedback and listens. He’s constantly updating things, even if they work so well already.

There is no chance of side effects (like you’re guaranteed to suffer from pharmaceuticals), still, he wants to be 100% sure that what he teaches works.

Scott is just one of the few people who really cares.

Looking back, I am shocked by how close I was to messing this up when I first learned about Scott’s approach.

There was no way I could meet Scott in person. He’s too busy saving thousands of lives by researching and writing for one-on-one counseling.

And he doesn’t have to counsel. Because he has laid everything out, step-by-step, in “The Oxidized Cholesterol. Strategy”

(I’ll tell you in a second how you can get your hands on this strategy).

I was about to order his strategy.

Then I hesitated

I don’t know why.

I just had all these empty excuses bouncing in my brain.

  • what if this doesn’t work?
  • are people going to laugh at me for trying something different?
  • are they going to call me a fool, a sucker?
  • what if I don’t get anything after I complete my order?
  • what if this is too complicated for me to follow?
  • do I need to give up too many things I love to eat?
  • is this too much work?
  • is it worth it to put in the effort to change?

In the end, these excuses proved themselves ridiculous.

Of course, I received the program from Scott.

And, of course, some shocked their head when I told them what I was doing. But I had the last laugh when my cholesterol effortlessly dropped while they were still struggling with medications.

Scott explains everything in great detail using plain 5th graders’ English. He wants to ensure that anyone interested can understand how oxidized cholesterol works and how to get rid of it.

I, however, used Scott’s strategy a little differently.

I just blindly followed Scott’s four-week plan step-by-step. Then I read and understood everything afterward.

It’s easy to follow Scott’s four-week plan. Like he was holding my hand, I always knew exactly what to do and when.

No doubt, no confusion.

Admittingly, I only did about 80% of what he suggested. But that was enough to normalize my cholesterol and clear my heart arteries.

Best of all, it’s effortless. I can’t say I must give up anything I miss to eat or do. It’s more of a few minor adjustments that make a huge difference.

Everything I need is available in my local supermarket, and the grocery bill has gone down (so has my weight, without even trying).

If I had known then what I know now, I wouldn’t have hesitated, but back then, Scott’s approach went against everything I had learned.

Even if, ironically, nothing I had learned before had ever worked, it was still scary to try something new.

Finally, my wife kicked my butt.

“What do you have to lose,” she says. “If you try this, what’s the worst that can happen?”

“Yes, it’s possible you won’t experience any results,” she continues, “then you can ask for your money back.”

[Insert: Scott guarantees results or money back]

“The worst thing that can happen…

…is that you do nothing?

You passively let your cholesterol kill you, one day at a time.

Little by little, the blocks in your heart become bigger. And without a warning, when you least expect, something bursts. And you’ll either suffer a massive heart attack or stroke.

You’ll die and leave your family in sorrow.

You’ll miss out on growing old together, playing with your grandchildren, and enjoying our golden years together.

You’ll miss out on everything you have been looking forward to for decades.

It’s inevitable,” my wife continues, “and you’ll bring this sorrow on yourself and everyone who loves you.

You’ll do this even if the solution is staring you in the face.”

She was right.

It was tough love.

She said these things because she loves me.

And she saved my life that day.

Sometimes, we need a little nudge to do the right thing.

And the best thing that could happen

That’s what I’m experiencing today.

My cholesterol is normal, and my arteries are clear of all plaque.

I never realized cholesterol narrowed all arteries, not just the heart.

Blood couldn’t flow freely through my arteries, feeding my muscles, internal organs, brain, and other cells.

That’s the reason why I was always tired and out of energy.

And why I thought I was developing dementia.

That’s also the reason why I was having bedroom problems with my wife.

Now, I’m bursting with energy every day.

I sleep like a baby and wake up refreshed and optimistic every morning.

My brain is vibrant and clear.

And yes, those bedroom problems are a distant memory. We’re having more romance than when we first met.

Psychologically, I’m feeling even better.

Because the constant angst about falling victim to the same fate as my father, uncle, and sister is gone.

I know now that I will not die of a stroke or heart attack, and I’ll never have to undergo heart surgery.

Because my heart is as solid and clean as a thirty-year-old, and I’ll keep it that way.

I spend quality time with our grandchildren and know I’ll be there for them as they grow up.

My only angst is to think back to what would have happened if I hadn’t taken the chance on Scott’s strategy.

Where would I be?

Where will you be if you don’t?
